Objective : Educated and sensitized participants on sanitary pad making and usage

CARD Nepal educated and sensitized participants on sanitary pad making and usage, leading to decreased school absenteeism and dropout rates among girls through this Sanitary Pad making and Sanitation Program . Additionally, the initiative sparked plans for local sanitary pad manufacturing, promoting economic empowerment and enhancing community health. By addressing menstrual hygiene, the program has created a sustainable and positive impact on the lives of women and girls.

In addition, Our program is breaking menstrual taboos and stigmas, the program fostered a more supportive environment for discussing menstrual health openly. It encouraged positive attitudes towards menstruation, benefiting the overall well-being and dignity of women and girls.
